Canonical ha released Ubuntu 19.10 Eoan Ermine, the October 2019 version of the operating system it develops, along with new versions of all its official flavors. At present, these flavors are Kubuntu, Lubuntu, Xubuntu, Ubuntu MATE, Ubuntu Budgie, Ubuntu Studio and Ubuntu Kylin, but in the future so will Ubuntu Cinnamon. This is a normal cycle release supported for 9 months that comes six months after Disco Dingo.

This is a performance improvement derived from GNOME 3.34, the graphical environment used by the latest version of Ubuntu.
