I use Ubuntu Maverick x64 with a modified kernel with OSS support (which I use because I use Tvtime among other things, and otherwise I cannot control the volume from the application).
I give you the links of the things I use:
Kernel: Kernel with active OSS support for Ubuntu Maverick Meerkat x64
Patch: Famous 200+ line patch in user mode for Ubuntu. Easy.
Skin Covergloobus: CoverGloobus skin edited by me.

Would you like to show your desktop on the blog?
Requirements: GNU / Linux Operating System Send a detail of what is seen in the capture, desktop environment, theme, icons, desktop background, etc. (If you have a blog send the address to put it) Send me your captures to ubunblog [at] gmail.com , and the first monday of every month I will publish an entry with the desks that are arriving
On Iván's desk there is a screenlet of a very cool calendar, do you know what it is?
I also want the docky song (I guess) that ivan has, it's excellent.
Thank you very much men for posting my desktop. 🙂 😆
My favorites are definitely the last 3.
Thanks;), I agree ... the last 2 are the best (aside, almost the only ones not GNOME or KDE) 😛
Someone knows how to place the transparent top panel, since I have not been able to with mine no matter how much I have tried. Greetings.
You can do the following:
from console:
wget http://webupd8.googlecode.com/files/theme_bg_patcher2.py && chmod + x theme_bg_patcher2.py
After the download, you run:
sudo python -u theme_bg_patcher2.py
Then you can put the transparency in the panels as usual (right click, properties, background tab and solid color) ...
