With the release of Krita 4.4.0, developers from the free graphics program mentioned that in the development of this new version they assumed the fill patterns and textures, among other things.
And it is that in this new version of Krita 4.4.0 software now benefits from improved tools with which, among other things, it is possible to program your own fill levels using the free Disney animation language SeExpr.
In addition, fill levels can be transformed by allowing the user to rotate them. If the computer CPU has multiple cores, the padding calculations can be distributed, say the developers. This means that the calculation of fill levels is much faster.
krita tIt also brings improved features, like the brightness parameter introduced in the previous version with the mix parameter.
Another of the changes that stands out in this new version is the new gradient map mode for brush tips with which you can now also use the global gradient to color the tip of a brush, which is especially useful with small repeating objects like flowers and leaves.
As well new lightness and gradient modes are introduced for brush textures, whereupon brushes now have the ability to use clarity and gradients for textures as well.
On the other hand, alson Animation enhancements are highlighted This is done because some of the features that are already planned and of which were chosen to be presented in this new version of Krita 4.4.0 are:
- Audio support within an AppImage.
- WebM / VP9 Preset for Animation Rendering - Based on a request for a web-compatible rendering preset.
- Compositions Docker now allows export of animations: requested by animators, docker. Compositions Docker allows you to save and load layer visibility settings. This adds the ability to configure animation renderings for these settings.
Regarding the corrections that are presented in this new version:

- Fixed the Move tool to work correctly with Instant Preview
- Fixed moving local selection mask created from global selection
- Bug fix: recent documents won't open
- Fix aspect ratio of resource icon on 1 column display
- Fix artifacts when moving a layer with layer styles
- Fixed converting multi-row shapes to a vector selection
- A shader was created to draw the outline of the brush tool.
- Fixed OpenGL canvas rendering for high resolution displays.

If you want to install the new version of this suite, you should know that the packages for installation are not yet available. And it is that the announcement was made not long ago but the packages have not been made available.
As soon as they are available they can add the repository to your system, for it we are going to require the use of a terminal, we execute it by typing ctrl + alt + t at the same time, now only we must add the following lines:
