How to add dynamic bookmarks in Mozilla Firefox

Mozilla Firefox dynamic bookmarks

Surely many of you currently use external applications to receive the latest articles from your favorite websites or blogs. This is practical and important, in such a way that there are applications of this subject in all operating systems.

For Ubuntu, we have already talked to you about Feedly, a very popular application that can be had in Ubuntu. But there is the possibility of receiving this information in Mozilla Firefox.

Mozilla Firefox's dynamic bookmarks can replace other applications like Feedly

This function called rss news subscription is achieved thanks to Mozilla Firefox dynamic bookmarks. In order to have them, we first have to go to the web or blog to which we want to subscribe. Once we are in it, we go to the Bookmarks menu and click on the option «Subscribe to this page ...» after that a website will appear with an information box and a list of the latest articles on the website.

In the information box that appears in the window we leave the tab in "Dynamic bookmarks" and we mark the option «Always use Dynamic Bookmarks to subscribe to web channels. » After this, we press the button «Subscribe now» and with that we will already be subscribed.

Now we have to go to View–> Toolbars and mark Bookmarks Bar. With this, the bookmarks bar will appear in Mozilla Firefox and there will be the web to which we have subscribed with the latest news or posts that it has published.

This dynamic bookmarks option is useful for teams with few resourcesSince by not depending on applications or external plugins, our Ubuntu will be able to run the applications better and we do not lose any functionality. Although yes, we will not have the page search engine with the same theme as Feedly if it has. However Which one will you keep?
