APTonCD, to create a custom Linux installation disk

APtonCD

In the next article I am going to talk about this sensational program integrated into most distributions Linux based on Debian.

With APtonCD, we can create in a simple way, our own installation disc of the Linux operating system that we are using.

The installation disk created will be just as we wantIn other words, from a list of the program in question we can select the different options of our system to save on the installation disk that will be created.

For example we can make a disk to image and likeness as we have the work at that time, which will include all the applications, configurations and repository packages that we have installed at that time on the aforementioned disk.

How to create the installation disc

APtonCD

To create the system installation disk as we have it configured at that moment, we will only have to run the app found in the system tools and choose the option CREA (=make) and on the next screen we will click on Engrave; This is how simple and easy things are done in Linux.

If, on the other hand, we want to make an installation disc, only with some applications, configurations and specific packages of our operating system, we will select the create option in the same way, only that next in the list of packages, we will select only those that we want to include in the installation disc and we will also click on the button Record.

APtonCD

To do the restoration of our system, once the Linux distro is installed, we will execute the application in the same way APtonCD, but we will select the option Restore, we will insert the installation disc created and click on the button Load to tell you the path of the disk or image ISO.

The installation disk can be created directly in a CD o DVD, or on the hard drive of our computer creating an image ISO.
