How to install Bitwig Studio on Ubuntu and derivatives?

As we mentioned at the beginning Bitwig Studio is commercial software and it is also not free software, although despite that, users buy it a lot to use it.

That is why in order to download the software it must be downloaded from its official website in the download section where we can find the links for the different editions of the software.

In the case of Linux, Bitwig Studio offers a DEB package which greatly facilitates the installation of the application in Ubuntu, Debian, as well as in distributions derived from it.

The package can be obtained from the link below.

Done this and obtained the deb package, just install the package with our package manager by double-clicking and installing the package with the help of the software center or from the terminal.

In the case of installing from the terminal It is enough to position ourselves in the directory where the package was downloaded, which in the most common case is in the downloads folder, which we position ourselves with the command:

cd ~/Descargas

We proceed to install with:

sudo dpkg -i bitwin-studio*.deb

And in case of having problems with the dependencies, we solve them with:

sudo apt install -f
