ComplexShutdown is an application written in Python that allows you to schedule shutdown, logoff, reboot, hibernate and command execution.

About ComplexShutdown

It has a small interface to turn off the PC with many options. Actually, it is a more or less simple script.

Sometimes we forget to turn off the computer because of any issue, time, not being in the place, among others. ComplexShutdown can automatically shut down your computer when scheduled.

Not just the shutdown, but it can work tons of other actions like logout, reboot, hibernate, put to sleep or you can program a custom command with it.

Once a task is scheduled, a countdown reports the time remaining before the task begins.

Using this program you can choose specific days and times to shut down your machine or program a custom / script.

It is worth remembering that the ComplexShutdown only organizes one task at a time, that is, it cannot schedule many cases with different actions. Unfortunately, this is the weak point of the program.

Although the main intent of the program was to shut down a system, more capabilities were added over time. The Current features of ComplexShutdown include:

  • Schedule common tasks such as shutdown, restart, hibernate, standby, log out, or a custom command
  • Schedule at a specified time, or after an interval, or specify the idle time
  • Show notification, play custom sound
  • Drive integration to show the time left for the task on the launch bar.
