Cutegram, an unofficial desktop client for Telegram

Cutegram telegram unofficial client

In the next article we are going to take a look at Cutegram. I guess a lot of people still use Telegram, la cross-platform instant messaging featuring self-destruct messages, VoIP, and Gifs. This app has desktop apps for the 3 most popular platforms, but in the open source community, a lot of people are unhappy with the options available. For that reason Cutegram was created.

This is a cross-platform (unofficial) desktop client for Telegram. It was created using Qt5, libappindication, QML, libqtelegram, Faenza icons, Twitter and emojis, a graphic set of AsemanQtTools technologies and it is compatible with all file types such as Telegram.

Cutegram is not just another Telegram client, it is committed to working with desktop environments entirely. It is an approach that the developer takes into account. Too many customers don't take into account the multitude of desktop environments available in Gnu / Linux or how different each operating system can be. That is why this application does its best to do just this, to provide a modern and easy-to-use interface that works for everyone and is not confusing.

The application has an intuitive and easy-to-use user interface. It will allow us to use so many customization options that it is best for everyone to experiment with the program to test them. For example, we will have at our disposal a color selector to set the color we want in the application window.

Cutegram is a free and open source software. This means that everyone can read the Cutegram source code. There are no private things about Cutegram. The application was developed by Aseman, a non-profit company that he created to support and lead FOSS projects and research (free open source software) with the aim of providing "free and safe products to maintain people's freedom and privacy."
