It's been almost 2 months now that we've been walking little by little through a extensive list of FPS games for Linux, many of them from retro and old school style. Many of them original or independent, and others that were born as a modification/update (fork) of other games, such as some versions of Doom or Quake.

A good example of this was the multiplayer FPS game with which we started this series of posts, called AQtion (Action Quake). What is the FPS game for Linux called D-Day: Normandy about?

According to GitHub web section, unofficial (PowaBanga) of this old, but still video game, it is described as follows:

D-Day: Normandy FPS is an open source game that was abandoned by its developers and is now developed exclusively by its fans. And the source code stored here corresponds to the complete source of D-Day: Normandy FPS, which is a total conversion of Quake II set in World War II.
