Today was a great day. Not as much as last April 18 or next October 17, dates that coincide with the recent release of Disco Dingo and that of the next Eoan Ermine, but almost. What has arrived today has been a new version of the operating system on which Ubuntu is based, a Debian 10 It has come up with the codename "Buster." As we can read in the release note, Buster arrives after 25 months of development and will be supported for the next 5 years.
Debian 10 has been available in trial version throughout this week and we already knew that its launch would take place this Saturday. Throughout the day, the official Debian Twitter account has been posting tweets with everything important to tell, including information on how to update from "Stretch" (Debian 9), the new design of your website, or that "Stretch" will continue to have security support for a further 12 months.
