Dell launches the most powerful Ubuntu laptops on the market

New Dell computers with Ubuntu

Admittedly, they are by no means a majority, but there are brands that, in addition to computers with Windows operating systems, also allow us to use Linux. When you go to the DELL site to customize the equipment WHEN YOU SELECT UBUNTU MORE THAN € 100 REMAINS which can be used to improve other components.

WHAT IS FUNNY TO ME is that they charge € 7 for "custom" partitioning and € 3 for enabling the "wake-on-lan", LET'S GO, the first thing has some work to do (configure an Ubuntu installation script) BUT IT SECOND is as simple as getting into the BIOS and changing it yourself - and for them even easier, having custom BIOS templates and updating the firmware - is that they at Dell have a nose that is stepping on them.

Okay. That features? I have an I7 with Windows 7 (unfortunately necessary for some things) and Linux mint ... It's scary ... And what a coincidence, it's a dell

I don't know why you need Windows but in my case all the Windows apps I found in the opposite part for Linux and free, with the power of an i7 your machine flies.

Well, if you have an app that is too specialized for wine, you can install Windows aps in linux. I install internet explorer 7 on ubuntu.

You just have to see the BIOS sometimes you need to update it
