Endless Sky - A Fighting and Space Exploration Game

Endless sky

Endless Sky is a 2D space trade and combat game Inspired by the classic Escape Velocity series. You start out as the captain of a small spaceship and you can choose what to do from there. The game includes a great plot and many missions Minors, but you can choose whether you want to play through the plot or strike out yourself as a merchant, bounty hunter, or scout.

Endless Sky is free, open source and cross-platform (Windows, Mac and Linux). Over time, the game universe will expand as contributors add new missions, story lines, alien species, places to explore, sound effects, and artwork.

About Endless Sky

You can earn money transporting passengers or cargo, escorting convoys, hunting bounties or looting and capturing enemy ships. You can also fight a civil war or ignore the plot and just enjoy exploring the galaxy and blowing up pirates.

Fortunately, there are hundreds of different 'teams' (weapons, engines, power generators, cooling systems and much more) that you can buy to upgrade your ship.

The main story line takes around 8-16 hours to play. The galaxy contains hundreds of star systems and planets, and several alien species with their own unique technologies.

You can choose from over fifty ships and several hundred ship upgrades. The system allows anyone with a text editor and graphics program to create new ships, weapons or missions and the galaxy editor can be used to add new star systems and planets.

Besides all this, it is possible to add add-ons to the game which you can download from the following web.
