Firefox 72 now available from Mozilla's FTP server. Official launch in less than 24 hours

Firefox 72

Once again, a company like Mozilla wanted to get something ready a day ahead of time and once again we wrote an article for "early adopters." Or more specifically, those who do not want to wait another minute. The company famous for developing the fox browser has already uploaded to its FTP server Firefox 72, the next version that comes with interesting news and whose official and stable launch is scheduled for less than 24 hours.

As always, we have to clarify what is happening: Mozilla has already uploaded Firefox 72 to its server, but the launch is not official. This means that what is available tomorrow is almost certainly the same as what is already on your server, but there is still a (low) possibility that they will discover something they want to correct and upload a new version before offering it on your page official Web. This is not likely, but we advise to cover all possibilities.

Firefox 72 will be officially released tomorrow

Mozilla usually releases the new versions of its browser on Tuesday and tomorrow around noon we will be able to download Firefox 72 from its official website. At the time of this writing, what is available is still the browser v71, but we can download the v72 for Linux, Windows and macOS from the Mozilla FTP server which we can access from here.

La page with the list of news It will also be updated tomorrow, but some of the most outstanding ones are already known. Among them, the one that perhaps attracts the most attention is that it will be activated support to view video content on Picture-in-Picture on Linux and macOS, a feature that was already available for Windows since last month. Tomorrow we will write another article talking about the official launch and with the complete list of news.
