The user Vasco Alexander, the same artist responsible for that incredible 850 GIMP Brushes Pack which we talked about a few weeks ago in Ubunlog, has shared a package of watercolor brushes for Chalk.
Vasco Alexander assures that although he is not very familiar with watercolor painting, he put a lot of effort into creating the package that concerns us this time.
“It's hard to know how well [brushes] do their job. I've done my research, compared to other brushes, scanned watercolor images, and seen watercolor paintings from traditional masters, so I can say that I have done my homework and done my best to provide a good package with which to create stunning watercolor paintings. Feedback is always welcome, ”says Alexander.
According to its creator, the idea of the brush pack is to simulate and control the diffusion of water by pressure. "More pressure means more dispersion and less opacity, this is the basic formula", Basqué sentence.

The brushes are intended to be used in Krita 2.7, Krita 2.8 and higher versions. The license under which they are distributed is CC0 1.0 universal.
