GNOME 3.32.1 now available, mainly to fix bugs

GNOME Project announced a few hours ago the GNOME 3.32.1 release, the first minor update of the latest version of one of the most popular graphical environments in the Linux world. Not surprisingly, although it is true that Canonical uses a somewhat custom desktop, Ubuntu returned to GNOME with the release of Ubuntu 18.10 last October. Updates that change the second decimal / point do not usually bring major changes, and the version released yesterday does not skip this rule.

But, as we say, a Linux release has occurred not to say that it is already available for easier installation. Whoever wants to use it right now will have to use their binary o loose packages which are available on their corresponding official websites. Most users, those who do not want to use the files that are already available, will have to wait several days for them to appear in the repositories, and if they take as long as the KDE project it could take more than a week.

GNOME 3.32.1: four weeks of work to fix bugs

“GNOME 3.31.1 is now available. This stable release contains four valuable weeks of bug fixes since the 3.32.0 release. Although it only contains bug fixes, all distributions that came out with 3.32.0 must update ».

This will be the first minor update of the two for v3.32 of the GNOME desktop. The second is expected on May 8, just four weeks after the release of v3.32.1. GNOME 3.32 will continue to receive updates until the end of the year, but in my opinion, any user who has this version installed should not worry, since they either have the GNOME Desktop repositories installed or an operating system that will be sufficiently supported. That's how I am with Kubuntu, I have the KDE repositories installed and, in addition, I update the operating system every 6 months (April and October).

If you decide to try the new version, do not hesitate to leave your experiences in the comments.
