Gnome To Do is coming to Ubuntu 18.04

Gnome to do

Surely many of you will not be strange to productivity applications. These applications are programs that help us to be more productive. There are many types of applications such as agenda programs, calendars, task lists, time timers, etc ...

The Ubuntu team has been aware of the importance of this type of program and in the next LTS version, Ubuntu 18.04, there will be an application of this type. Specific will be gnome to do, an application to list tasks or create custom lists.

Gnome To Do is a free alternative to applications like Evernote or Wunderlist. It allows us to create lists that we can evaluate with colors and discard as we are making or finishing. Gnome To Do is within the Gnome project, so it is not really a novelty but we can have this application in any version of Ubuntu that has Gnome as a desktop.

To install Gnome To Do we have to open the terminal and write the following:

sudo apt-get install gnome-todo

After several seconds, we will have the Gnome To Do application ready to run and function.

Gnome To Do is a great application that will not only help us create lists but also will allow us to have the lists of other applications such as Todoist. This is useful as it will help us to adapt to an application and we can also sync notes between smartphone and desktop.

In any case, it is still interesting and striking that Ubuntu incorporates these types of applications in an LTS distribution. A series of applications that are not widely used if we have the computer to play, navigate or simply to watch videos. But, personally, it seems like a great idea because I do use this type of application and although at first it seems a nuisance, the truth is that productivity practices free work and stress for not seeing finish the tasks that we have pending. However What productivity app do you use? Do you think the inclusion of Gnome To Do is interesting? What is your opinion?
