In March, Google ad Google Stadia, a video game platform in streaming which we could play on practically any computer, with the platform's official command and a web browser. Today, the company of the famous search engine has made its launch official, but that does not mean that it is already available, but that all the details of a video game platform are already known, which left us with many questions.
The first thing to mention is that it will work with a minimum internet connection of 10Mbps, which will help us to play with a resolution of 720p at 60fps. If our connection is 20Mbps we can play at a resolution of 1080p, 60fps and Surround 5.1. To enjoy 100% of what Google Stadia can offer we will need a 35Mbps connection, which will allow us to add 4K to what we can play with 20Mbps. Google has enabled a web page to test our speed that we can access from here.
We can play Google Stadia with "only" 10Mbps
The next thing they have announced today has been the price: 9.99 € in Spain. Google will launch two types of subscription: with the € 9.99 we will pay for the model Stadia Pro It offers 4K resolution, 60fps, 5.1 Surround, possibility to buy games, access to the free catalog and exclusive discounts. Later, in 2020, it will launch Stadia Base, with which we can play at a maximum of 1080p, 60fps, stereo audio and the possibility of buying games, but we will NOT be able to access the free catalog or discounts of Stadia Pro.
The problem is that we will not be able to contract Stadia Base, price quotation, if we have not subscribed to Stadia Pro before. Technically, Stadia Base is the model in which we stay when we cancel Stadia Pro, which will allow us to play all the titles that we have acquired when we were subscribed and this will be the case forever.
Stadia Founder's Edition, welcome pack for the first
Google has launched an offer for those who subscribe right now. It's about a package priced at € 129 consisting of an exclusive Night Blue Stadia controller, a Chromecast Ultra, a three-month subscription for two, the game Destiny 2 The Collection, a freemium game yet to be determined and the possibility of choosing the Stadia Name. The controller alone already costs € 70, so this welcome package will allow us to save more than € 50, just taking into account the controller, the game and the three-month subscription for two people.
Google Stadia will start with a catalog of 31 games
It may know little for the most gamers, but Google has already announced that Google Stadia will be launched with a catalog of 31 games that will grow over time. The games available from the beginning will be the following:

Available from November… not for everyone
As we mentioned at the beginning of this article, Google has made the launch of Stadia official, but only to release all the details. Among these details we have when it will be available: From November. The problem is that it will not be a general release, but only those who purchase the Stadia Founder's Edition package will be able to start playing from its launch.
Google Stadia will be available on all kinds of devices. At first we will be able to play it on computers and mobile devices, being the first to enjoy the service those of the Google Pixel family. It is more than likely that later on they will launch an app with which we can play from set-top boxes, such as the Android TV that are already on the market.
