AMD has released a new update for your graphics drivers Aimed at Linux-based operating systems. The new driver, called AMDGPU-PRO 17.30, launches support for the recently announced Ubuntu 16.04.3 LTS (Xenial Xerus).
Ubuntu LTS 16.04.3 was released about 10 days ago as the most advanced version of the Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) operating system, and provides the graphical stacks and Linux Kernel of the current Ubuntu version, Ubuntu 17.04 (Zesty Zapus).
Of course this means that Ubuntu 16.04.3 LTS includes Linux Kernel 4.10, X.Org Server 1.19.3 graphics server, as well as Mesa 17.0 3D graphics library. This is a great update compared to the graphics stacks and the kernel used in Ubuntu 16.04.2 LTS, so AMD also had to update its graphics driver in order to support new technologies.
