    Hello Miguel, I have done everything as you explain but when restarting it has not changed me to KDE, now, in the system I have the cinnamon and gnome desktops; Will I have to uninstall the 2 desktops? I currently default to cinnamon and the system is 16.04.

    I love Kubuntu it is my preferred OS. . . but I installed this version 16.04LTS and the truth is I did not like your desktop very much those rectangular or square icons that the truth is I do not see as aesthetic also they take up a lot of space on the desktop. . . know if you can go back to for example kubuntu 14.04LTS 😉
