KDE Project managers recently announced the immediate availability of the second maintenance update for the KDE Applications 17.04 software suite targeting KDE Plasma 5 desktop environments.

Available almost a month after the release of the first maintenance update in this series, KDE Applications 17.04.2 arrives today with more than 15 bug fixes that were reported by users or discovered by development teams for various applications. and included components such as Kdenlive, Dolphin, Gwenview, Ark, and KDE PIM.

“Today, KDE has released the second stability update for KDE Applications 17.04. This version contains only bug fixes and translation updates, making it a safe update for everyone. There are more than 15 problems solved with improvements for KDE PIM, Ark, Dolphin, Gwenview, Kdenlive, among others ”, they point out in the official announcement.

KDE Applications 17.04.3 will mark the end of the life of the KDE Applications 17.04 series, so the release schedule for the new version should appear in the coming weeks KDE Applications 17.10, whose first beta should appear this summer for users.
