KDE does not stop and continues to prepare many news, despite the ravages of COVID-19

Elisa from the tray in KDE Plasma

Another sunday more KDE Community tells us about the news they are working on and will be coming to their software in the near future. As usual, it has been Nate Graham who has published today's entry, one in which they mention 5 new functions and as many corrections in the performance and interface of their software. They continue to focus on Plasma 5.19.0 and KDE Applications 20.04.0, but they are also preparing changes for Plasma 5.18.4 which will arrive on the last day of March.

Of the 5 new features that Graham has advanced to us, there is one that stands out above the others. It does not do it because it is a really important function, but because it joins the long list of news that will arrive with Elisa 20.04, the one that will be the default player in Kubuntu from Focal Fossa to be released on April 23. When will this all come to KDE?

Of everything described in this article, the first to arrive will be plasma 5.18.4, something he will do on March 31st. Starting in April, Frameworks 11 will arrive on the 5.69th and KDE Applications 23 will arrive on the 20.04.0rd. Already in summer, on June 9, KDE will release Plasma 5.19.0.

We remember that in order to enjoy everything mentioned here as soon as it is available we have to have added the Backports repository from KDE or use an operating system with special repositories like KDE neon.
