Kdenlive 19.12.2 out now, but only introduces 13 changes, including support for Qt 5.14

Kdenlive 19.12.2

Less than 24 hours ago, KDE Community released the KDE Applications 19.12.2, a new update of its set of applications that has arrived to correct errors. Among these applications we have its famous video editor, which this February launched Kdenlive 19.12.2. But if you are waiting for a list of news as long as on other occasions, you are going to be very disappointed. And if you're experiencing annoying glitch, it might as well.

Kdenlive 19.12.2 has arrived for introduce only 13 changes. In other releases, KDE introduces dozens, sometimes close to a hundred, so this minor update is actually minor. Considering that the KDE video editor has been making a lot of bugs lately, the fact that only a dozen changes have been made does not give us hope that the bug we've been experiencing for a long time will go away. You have the complete list of news below.

What's new in Kdenlive 19.12.2

  • Cleaner disposal order on departure.
  • Fixed crash in new project with Qt 5.14.
  • Fixed index corruption on track removal.
  • Sort subclips in chronological order by sorting by date.
  • Adjust clip items in the timeline to a smaller track size.
  • Resized cleanup and other clip handles (fades, add composition, keyframes).
  • Clean and fix possible corruption in missing bin clip identification.
  • Restore opening clips from the command line.
  • Fixed effect with long names prevents easy access to effect actions.
  • Hide option to overlay project monitor audio information (not supported).
  • Fixed an empty frame on the left when trying to join 2 clips.
  • Fixed i18n warning at startup.
  • Build duration improvements on drop

The new version is already available in code formbut their Flatpak package, their Snap, and their AppImage has not even been uploaded yet. They will do so in the next few hours, including the Backports repository version and the Windows version will also be available soon.

I imagine that there is little news because with his superb attitude, especially by an individual who no longer remember his name, but his producer is Estúdio Gunga, because as he said his attitude has scared users who report bugs. People have gotten tired of this want and I can't, it turns out to be kdenlive, and especially the one that when they fix one thing they spoil 4 ... I personally didn't dislike kdenlive, but I ended up totally disappointed when I tried to get involved with the bug report ... it seemed that the fault of the application crashing was mine ... in short, surreal. Now I work with the wonderful Cinelerra and waiting for the stable version of Olive.
When an application stops serving better to look for another. This bug that you are going to see in the video, with the latest version, I haven't even bothered to report it. I know the solution, they will eliminate this handy effect and then they will say, "It was causing problems." That's how crappy their solutions are.
