A little less than a month ago, the KDE Community released KDE Applications 20.04.0. As the first version of the series, it came with outstanding news, many of them to a video editor that introducedFor example, a new splash screen or new render profiles. Last Friday, along with the rest of the May 2020 application set, KDE launched Kdenlive 20.04.1, but it was not until a few hours ago that has made official this landing.
In total, Kdenlive 20.04.1 has introduced 36 changes, 38 if we add one in Windows that has integrated the Motion Tracking effect and another in the AppImage version that has fixed a block or "crash" on older systems by eliminating the OpenCV sse4 dependency. Now available for Linux and Windows
Kdenlive 20.04.1 is now available for all supported systems, which matches Linux and Windows. We can use its version in AppImage, but also his Flatpak version. In the next few hours they will also update the Snap version (sudo snap install kdenlive) and the KDE Backports repository version.
