The famous password manager KeePass, has been updated to version 2.38 with which it is renewed and where it offers us new improvements in the operation of the program, as well as a handful of corrections.
For those of you who don't know about KeePass yet, I can tell you that is a great open source and multiplatform program, with which it allows us to manage our passwords and to be able to store them in a database.
Do not be alarmed this database is protected by a master key, the stored data is encrypted using the best algorithms such as AES.
Therefore, it makes it an excellent option for password management. The interesting thing about KeePass is that allows us to manage it in various ways, since it is not only limited to website passwords, but also of our wifi networks, email managers, in a nutshell everything.
In addition, allows us to create groups where we can categorize and have a better management and orderly our passwords.
With the new version of KeePass 2.38 we found following:

- HTML Print / Export: Improved CSS integration.
- Print / HTML export: spaces in passwords are now encoded as non-breaking spaces.
- Improved UI update in 'Print' / HTML export dialog.
- Improved KDE system font detection.
- Improves compatibility with Microsoft User Experience Virtualization rules.
- The interface now scales based on the DPI of the screen.
- Several bugs have been fixed in the Office and Mono libraries.
How to install KeePass 2.38 on Ubuntu?
To enjoy this new version we must go to their website y download the latest version, the only drawback is that at the moment it is only for Windows, so if we want to install it we must do it through Wine.
Just make sure the .NET Framework 4.5 or higher is installed on Wine. To install .NET Framework 4.5, they can use winetricks.
Finally, we just have to install it with the following command:
wine KeePass.exe
