KeePassXC can now be installed via snap package

KeePassXC on Ubuntu

Surely many of you know the name of KeePassXC. An attractive program that helps us to have a lot of passwords without having to learn them. A software that allows us to store passwords for various services and applications, contain everything in a file or pendrive and be able to carry it when we leave the pc.

KeePassXC is free software and much needed by many users. This is why it has become so popular. And so popular that it has made KeePassXC has a snap installation format, for Ubuntu users and this universal package.

KeePassXC is the Community version of this program, a version that is a bit different from the professional version but enough for thousands of users with average demands. The snap package for this app began development in January, after which it has been downloaded more than 18.000 times. Something interesting for a package that is not yet stable. Now, KeePassXC is now in the snapd stable repository, so to be able to install this application using snapd, we have to open the terminal and write the following:

sudo snap install keepassxc

After which the installation of this application will begin. The good thing about this package, in this case, is not only that it will not affect the rest of the team if you have update problems; but the simple fact of being able to carry this type of applications to platforms such as Ubuntu Core or Free Hardware boards such as Raspberry Pi or Orange Pi. Something very interesting for those who seek maximum security for their projects.

I personally believe that this software should be among the distribution programsSince many users use KeePassXC more times than other programs such as VLC or LibreOffice. But this is something that will take a little longer, for the moment we have to be content with this snap package.
