One of the lightest Ubuntu-based operating systems has just released a new version. Is about Linux Lite 4.4 which is based on Ubuntu 18.04.2, the latest LTS version of the operating system developed by Canonical. Linux Lite is the favorite system for many users and the main reason is its fluidity and simplicity that comes both from the Xfce graphical environment and from a set of lightweight applications perfect for running on less powerful computers or being ultra-fast on more solvent computers.
Linux Lite 4.4 arrives with few important news, having mostly focused on fixing bugs and improving performance general operating system. On the other hand, something that has nothing to do with the final version, they have changed the method in which the preliminary versions are delivered to test the system, leaving behind the beta versions to launch Release Candidate (RC) images
