Linux Mint 18 "Sarah" KDE Now Available

The new version of Linux Mint 18 "Sarah" in its edition KDE so much in 32 as in 64 bits. The edition is based on LTS and therefore its support is guaranteed until the year 2021. • New settings in the Update Manager: Update Manager has been improved both visually and in its behavior. Now they are used widgets and animations as an alternative to the classic icons. However, these are still available although enhanced with capabilities such as dynamic colors or gradient texts. It is also possible to select the kernel updates that we want to carry out, up to a total of 5 Niveles that can be configured independently. • System Improvements: the command apt de Mint now supports all the modifiers that originally included the same command under Debian and that Ubuntu also incorporates. Indeed, in 2007 this command was included in Linux Mint and since then it performs the same function that it originally did in Debian, but without all the functionalities of the original. From now on they are all included. Besides, now apt shows a progress bar when installing or uninstalling packages.
