Linux Mint 19.3 "Tricia" to launch beta version tomorrow

Linux Mint 19.3 Tricia

In early September, Clement Lefebvre, project leader for one of the most popular Ubuntu-based operating systems, spoke to us Linux Mint 19.3 for the first time. A month later revealed to us that her code name would be "Tricia" and that she would be available right around Christmas. Yesterday in the december newsletter, published new information, little, but enough to let us know that tomorrow Tuesday December 3 will release the beta version of Linux Mint 19.3.

Unlike other months in which you mention the changes you are working on, this month has limited itself to thanking the sponsors and those who make donations, to advance the launch of the beta, to say that they are excited about this launch because, after two years in the 19 series, everything is very polished and little else. The really important thing is that all three editions of Linux Mint They will be available tomorrow as a trial version.

The three editions of Linux Mint 19.3 will arrive tomorrow in beta form

You probably know that we are targeting a Christmas release this year? All 3 editions of Linux Mint 19.3 passed QA and we will announce the BETA release on Tuesday! We are really excited about this release. The 19.x series is two years old and feels very polished. There are cool features in 19.3 that we haven't talked about on the blog yet. The software selection changed and three new applications are entering. The artwork is brand new and makes 19.3 feel really fresh.

It should be noted that Lefebvre ensures that there will be new features they haven't mentioned yet. This is probably one of the reasons why the article published yesterday was so short, not to reveal something interesting ahead of time. It is more than likely that tomorrow we will know what you are talking about, and if not, we will know it in the Christmas holidays, when the launch is stable and official.

UPDATED: the launch is not official, but the ISO images have already been uploaded to the FTP server where you can access from this link.

I just tried it and it seems excellent. Very stable and fluid. I can't find the hours for the final version to be released.
