Still without a codename, the new installment of one of the most popular Ubuntu-based versions will arrive this Christmas.
The Mint developer team is going to have a few 4 months to prepare your next release. Looking at the short list of news that Lefebvre has offered us, it is more than likely that more news will be included in the Linux Mint 19.3 development cycle, but Lefebvre has already mentioned some of those that it will include, such as that the language settings will allow us , in addition to the language and region, configure the time format depending on the preferences of our country.
Confirmed what's new in Linux Mint 19.3
- HiDPI support in Cinnamon and MATE will improve. There were some blurry icons and images in v19.2 and they have fixed things like flags (in language settings, software fonts tool, and screensaver) and theme preview in Cinnamon.
- The icons in the system tray will also improve.
- The update manager icon will be displayed correctly.

In short, Linux Mint 19.3 will arrive to polish the previous versions. He has not mentioned anything, so that it will be a normal versioni.e. not LTS. but it will be based on Ubuntu 18.04, so it will be an LTS version that will be supported until 2013.
