mdf2iso, convert MDF images to ISO on Linux

Yesterday I came across a CD image that I had to burn that was of the .MDF type so I could read these files are created with the software Alcohol 120% and in Ubuntu, Brazier The recorder that is installed by default does not support this type of images, I do not know (because I am not a user of KDE) and K3b supports them.

Fortunately, several Linux friends from Twitter they gave me a simple and fast solution, convert MDF image to ISO with mdf2iso, that as its name clearly indicates it is in charge of doing that job simply. mdf2iso is in the Ubuntu repositories, so we just have to look for it in the Software Center or type on a console

sudo apt-get install mdf2iso

Then we open a terminal and go to where we have the mdf image and type

mdf2iso image.mdf

In a matter of minutes we will have the image converted to ISO and we will be able to record it in Brasero.

Thank you @nosinmiubuntu @ClaudioMontaldo @soker_ @XAngeluX @ManuelHerreraM y @ phyro9 for the help and suggestions 🙂
