Just yesterday the new Caliber update, the famous cross-platform e-book converter, to your version 2.58. As you already know, this application open-source allows you to manage your personal library of ebooks and convert them to various popular formats.

The new version of the program seems to fix some problems found in the previous version and add support with the latest Qt libraries, 5.5 and later, in the case of the Ubuntu operating system. What most remarkable fact, if you are users of this system, from now on you should not feel any flickering in the contextual menu of List of books.

The one that can be considered the best current e-book manager continues to improve and, in addition to correcting other errors reported during the last version of the software, Caliber 2.57.1, we can mention that in this new edition includes support for PyQt 5.6 library, the possibility of import terms into the user dictionary and it includes non-ASCII character support within the rules of identifiers.

They have also added a new text search tool which is able to ignore the special HTML markup. This function is accessible through the search menu, in Search ignoring HTML markup.

Another new feature that includes Caliber 2.58, albeit in a exclusively for Mac OS X users, is the ssupport for drag-and-drop, which will allow you to directly view an electronic book that is dropped against the Caliber icon within the system.
