Alpha 22 0 AD is now available

AD 0 is a real time strategy video game currently developed by Wildfire Games. The game recreates some of the most epic battles in ancient history. Initially was developed in order to be a "mod" for Age of Empires II: The Age of Kings, but the development was turned around, creating a completely independent game, based on his ideas.

The first part of the game covers the period from 500 BC to 1 AD, and the second part from 1 AD to 500 AD. C. The player begins with the creation of a society that must develop in the economic and military sphere.

From the beginning a strong historical sense was kept in mind, without damaging the gameplay. Each civilization has special units and structures that characterized it.

Having already told you a bit about 0 AD, the developers announced a few days ago that Alpha 22 with codename "Venustas" was released.

This new version includes improvements in the multi player configuration, also a new game mode, Relic Mode, as well as new display modes.

In this new version artificial intelligence has also been improved (Petra), adding new types of diplomacy and attack strategies.

We have twelve new maps, including scripted enemies, rising water, a tutorial, and route editing.

Installation of 0 AD in Ubuntu 

Within the requirements to be able to run 0 AD are minimal, which are:

• Processor: Intel 1 GHz Intel or x86 compatible
• Conference proceedings: At least 512 MB of RAM.
• Graphic card: Anyone that supports OpenGL 1.3 with 3D acceleration through hardware and at least 128MB of memory.
• Decision: at least 1024 x 768.

To installing 0 AD on Ubuntu 17.04 and derivatives, you need to add the repository to the system and proceed to install the game on your computer, you just need to type the following commands:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:wfg/0ad
sudo apt update
sudo apt install 0ad

After the installation, you just have to enjoy the game.
