If you are interested in technological innovation, digital transformation and open source or open source, next week you have an appointment. Starting next Tuesday the Open Expo 2021, an event that talks about cybersecurity, artificial intelligence (AI), open source, blockchain, big data and clouds, among other topics related to technology that this 2021 will be expanded and will deal with even more information.

Between the new topics that will be introduced in 2021 we have EdTech, sustainability, environment, technology, the music business and digitization, accessibility and something that I think many of us are interested in today, IT training and employment and GovTech. Taking into account what we have experienced in the last year and a half, new working methods, among which we have telematics, have been gaining ground and popularity. On the other hand, at the same time there has also been a lot of talk about the different governments, so I think the GovTech issue is also interesting.

OpenExpo 2021 will introduce new themes, such as GovTech

The new themes are not the only novelties that will be introduced in 2021. To the different demonstrations, interviews, round tables, conferences and others, this year will be joined by a OpenTrivial in which 4 teams of professionals will compete to find out who is the best, or more specifically who has the most knowledge, in a duel in which the public will also be able to participate. On the other hand, they will also present The Voice of the Audience, something about which we cannot give any details because they will all give them when the time comes. The only thing we can imagine from its name is that the audience will be the protagonist.

La this year's edition be a virtual experience, because we already know that at the moment we have to avoid crowds and even companies like Google and Apple have made (the latter will do so on Monday) their presentations without an audience. We will be able to "attend" OpenExpo 2021 from four different services: event brite, LinkedIn, Meetup o Facebook. If you want to add it to your calendar automatically, you can do so by clicking on the options Google Calendar, Outlook o Yahoo.

The OpenExpo 2021 will take place from the 8 to the 11 in June, and I think it is worth saying that Ubunlog will be a media partner of the event, so if you trust us to inform you about the Linux world, you should trust OpenExpo to increase your knowledge about open source, technology in general and innovation in particular. Do not miss it!
