Opera R2020 arrives with various changes and improve web browsing

R2020

The developers of the popular Opera web browser released some days ago releasing a new version of your web browser, which now instead of arriving with the classic numbering that in this case would be "Opera 67" the developers baptized this release as "Opera R2020".

In a short explanation of the name, so far, Opera has called its big updates released at the beginning of the year as Reborn 1, Reborn 2 (new Flow function) and Reborn 3 (Fastest VPN and cryptocurrency wallet). And in this year, the name was simply changed to R2020 (Although it would basically be Opera 67, but the name is not bad).

Main novelties of Opera R2020

This new featured version of Opera R2020, arrives with various changes that its developers presume that they come to redefine and improve web browsing.

One of the elements they present is the improved design card management, with which get to improve the workspaces in the tabs, that is, the contexts, are a sensational novelty that allows convenient tab management of the browser in an extremely transparent way.

With this, users can name and customize the icon for each of these workspaces. An obvious example of the usefulness of this feature is the ability to separate tabs into related and non-work related workspaces.

In addition to the workspaces, Opera R2020 also brings a new tool which shows if the open tabs are duplicates.

If duplicate tab is found, user can easily close it. Also, the tab cycler, the bar that appears when you press Ctrl + Tab to see open tabs.

Another addition of R2020 is the sidebar settings panel. By clicking on the three-dot menu at the bottom of the sidebar, a well-organized panel opens with a comfortable and intuitive visual interface to manage items in the sidebar.

The configuration panel of the sidebar allows you to edit or delete any of the elements since you can customize the workspaces by adding, removing, editing or hiding them.

Finally, it also highlights the improvements made to the DNS over HTTPS function (DoH), in which it is now more robust. Opera now allows you to enable the DoH feature and choose the DoH server from a pre-selected list or customize it on any DoH server via browser settings.
