Canonical's Lukasz Zemczak informed the Ubuntu Touch community yesterday that the Release Candidate (RC) image of the upcoming software update, OTA-11 could be made available to anyone who wants to test it out later this week. , and the reason is that its development is going very slowly. The release of the final version will be delayed a week.

OTA-11 is not ready for an RC, but all the necessary fixes are done in silos, so we might expect it to be fine for a Release Candidate release tomorrow. Zemczak did not give an exact date, but everything seems to indicate that the OTA-11, which was scheduled for the end of May, will finally be launched in the first week of June. What has not changed, logically, is for which devices it will be available, and the OTA-11 will be able to be installed on all compatible Ubuntu Phones and the first converged tablet, the BQ Aquaris M10 Ubuntu Edition.
