Phones with Ubuntu Touch receive Bluetooth call support

The Ubuntu editions of the phones Oneplus One and Fairphone 2 receive this new functionality that will allow them to use Bluetooth devices for conversations during calls. This function will extend later towards other terminals such as the OnePlus 2 and OnePlus 3 and the Nexus 5X and it will be maintained with the collaboration of other companies.

This project has been carried out through the work carried out in ubports, created by Marius Gripsgård, in an attempt to bring the Ubuntu Touch system to as many terminals as possible. In it, in addition to supporting the terminals that we have mentioned, its peripherals and those of the Nexus 5 and Nexus 6 and the OnePlus X, among others, have been included.

More and more devices are supporting Canonical's mobile operating system. At the moment, Ubuntu Touch is able to run, thanks to the Gripsgård project, on the terminals OnePlus One, OnePlus X, Nexus 5 and Fairphone 2. They Nexus 6 and Nexus 8 the system is able to initiate boot, but not able to run the graphical user environment.
