The 25 most popular Linux games

I am not a gamer by any means, not even a solitaire game, but this article appeared in The Inquirer EN It caught my attention, because I did not know that there were so many of such good quality, I share it with you.

Given that people mainly have as their first problem to migrate to Linux is the subject of games, we are going to leave you a detailed list of games that we emphasize to show that Linux can also be played well. Let's cheer up a bit on Sunday then.

The games that we propose are mostly 3D and native to Linux, without having to run Wine or similar. They are quality games and most of them have won an award and appeared in a magazine.

The list of games is open, you can contribute more games and we will add them little by little. For now I propose the following: Battle for Wesnoth, Nexuiz, America's Army, Enemy Territories: Quake Wars, Tremulous, World of Padman, Tux Racer, Vendetta, Alien Arena 2007, Urban Terror, A Tale in the Desert, Second Life, Savage 2 , Warsow, TrueCombat: Elite, Frozen Bubble, TORCS (The Open Racing Car Simulator), Flight Gear, Frets on Fire, Scorched 3D, ManiaDrive, WarZone 2100, Spring, Battle Tanks and to finish for now: Excalibur: Morgana's Revenge v3.0. Enjoy the games if you did not know them and I encourage you to participate actively contributing more so that everyone in the community knows them.
