During the last week, and how we progress on Wednesday, Ubuntu has been celebrating its 'Desktop World Cup 2020'. Basically, there have been several polls in which his followers on Twitter have had to choose which was the best fund between two options, which could be said to be the "parties". Yesterday at the last minute in Spain, Canonical unveiled which is the best wallpaper of all those that it has included in the operating system that it has developed since 2004.
And the winner was… (drum roll): Hardy heron. The operating system arrived in April 2008 with the numbering 8.04, but it must be made clear that what it has gained is only its wallpaper, nothing to do with the rest of the system. You have the fund after the cut and personally I am surprised that this was the winner because I had other preferences; in fact, I preferred the other one from the end, the one from Ubuntu 8.10 Intrepid Ibex.
Hardy Heron's background is the best in Ubuntu history

Regarding the choice of the winner, a question arises: what would have happened if a different medium or means had been chosen to carry out the surveys? Because Hardy Heron has been awarded the award for the best Ubuntu wallpaper, but it has not been chosen by the whole community, but by Twitter users who also follow Ubuntu on the social network and have decided to vote.
You think Hardy heron just winner of the prize or do you remember someone else to whom you would have given the cup?
Horrible choice.
