Transparent Panel and Menu using Compiz

After applying this configuration in Compiz our menu and panel (although it is not noticeable in the screenshot) will look like this

To look like this

What we must do is open the Compiz Config Options Manager (we already saw how to install it here) found in System-> Preferences and we look for the option Opacity Brightness and Saturation

once inside we will see something like the capture that follows, inside the section windows specify settings We enter a new line (by clicking on new) and a window will open in which we will enter the following.

(name = gnome-panel) | (type = Menu | PopupMenu | DropdownMenu | Dialog | ModalDialog)

En windows value le we give the transparency value that we like the most 85 is in my case.

Another tip, if you want the windows to be transparent when you move them, look for the icon Move Window

and bring the opacity section to the level of transparency that you like.
