Ubuntu 18.04.4 arrives with Linux 5.3 a week later than expected

Ubuntu 18.04.4

Canonical was scheduled to launch Ubuntu 18.04.4 last week, but the new update didn't arrive when planned. Today, a week later, the fourth revision of Bionic Beaver can be downloaded, the version of Ubuntu that was released in April 2018 and will still be supported for three more years. As a knit version, it doesn't include any new features, but it does introduce a major change to its heart.

Ubuntu 18.04.4 should be the penultimate point update of Bionic Beaver, and we say it should be because Xenial Xerus has received 6 such updates. Canonical periodically releases, every 6-9 months, Updated ISOs that include the most important fixes they have published, among which this time we have the kernel Linux 5.3. Other changes are found in the installer and the window manager, where they have added corrections, and some improvements in the initial configuration tool related to Snap packages.
