It has caught me by surprise and at dawn, but still awake: Canonical has released the first beta of Ubuntu 19.04 Disco Dingo and all its official flavors. It has not been any social profile of the company that Mark Shuttleworth runs, but the official Ubuntu Budgie Twitter account that has published a tweet talking about the first beta. At first I thought it was only the Budgie version of Ubuntu, but I entered the link and they are all ready.

At Lóleo Eventos, download page We can see that there is already a new beta version of Kubuntu, Lubuntu, Netboot, Ubuntu, Ubuntu Base, Ubuntu Budgie, Ubuntu Kylin, Ubuntu MATE, Ubuntu Server, Ubuntu Studio and Xubuntu. There are several ISOs in several of the mentioned options, among which there are for developers and others special for Raspberry Pi, for example. All ISOs carry the version number 20190326.1, which seems to mean that it is the first version of the system launched on March 26, 3.

Ubuntu 19.04 and all its flavors will arrive on April 18

The official release of Ubuntu 19.04 Disco Dingo is scheduled for April 18, or what is the same, in 4 weeks and a day. It will be a release that will be officially supported for nine months and will arrive with few outstanding news, among which we will have the Linux Kernel 5.x and new versions of GNOME, KDE and the different graphical environments. Android integration was expected, that is, KDE Connect or the GNOME version of it, GSconnect. According to the latest news, this integration will have to wait, at least, until October of this year.

I leave you with the direct links to the official Ubuntu flavors:

[UPDATED]: From the tweet posted by Kubuntu, We have to rectify to say that it is not a beta 1 to use, but what is more than likely to be tomorrow. The confusion is logical if we consider what Ubuntu Budgie published and what we see in the following image, but the official launch is scheduled for tomorrow, so I am left with the information published by Kubuntu.

I tried the daily yesterday. And in an old notebook with i3 and 4gb of RAM it was flying ...
It didn't seem like a gnome, the optimization work was impressive ...
I am looking forward to testing it on my main notebook.
