If there is no new surprise in the form of a delay, and it seems that there will not be, Ubuntu Budgie It will become the tenth official Ubuntu flavor once the Zesty Zapus brand is officially launched, something that will take place on April 13, 2017. As you may already know, or if I don't explain it to you now, Ubuntu Budgie already existed as Budgie Remix, so an entire operating system was already available, with its graphical environment and, as far as this post is concerned, a logo.
Now, three months before its official release, the Ubuntu Budgie developers are asking us for our input to help them decide on their new logo. And, although it seems that a large part of the Budgie Remix interface will remain, its developers want to modify the name of many parts of the new operating system, among which it seems that there is also its brand or logo.
Ubuntu Budgie could come with a new logo

At the page of G + that they have enabled for it, the Ubuntu Budgie developers have published a survey in which we can vote between three options:
- New logo 1. It is the one that is in black with a white background and that inside a "b" has one of the three drawings that were in the original logo.
- New logo 2. A logo similar to the new logo 1, but more simplified.
- Current logo. The logo they've been using on Budgie Remix. Considering that changes are expected, I think this is the option with the least chance of becoming a reality, although it is receiving a lot of votes from users.
Personally, if I have to be honest, I don't know which of the three to vote for. Although it is not many years old, I am already used to the old logo and I don't quite like the new ones, so I think I would vote for the old one. Which do you prefer?
