Video tutorial on installing Ubuntu 13.04

I know the input seems very typical and quite repetitive, but it is still useful. The Ubuntu installation has been done on a virtual machine with VirtualBox but it can be done perfectly on a physical equipment, improving in many cases the speed of the installation.

If you look closely, the installation program has requirements that exceed those published by the company CanonicalHowever, the space required is still small and less than the current capabilities of computers.

Installations of versions prior to rare ringtail they are exactly the same, with the same process but maybe a little slower in the installation. The latter has been the main reason for using the latest version of Ubuntu and not another that could not include the changes of the latest versions.

Ubuntu 13.04 installation requirements:

The computer requirements to install this version are as follows:

  • 32-bit or 64-bit processor with a speed greater than 1 ghz.
  • At least 384 Mb of ram, preferably 1 Gb of Ram
  • 5,3 GB of HDD.
  • Internet connection
  • Graphic T. Vesa 800 × 600 or Higher with at least 128 mb of Ram.

These are the necessary requirements or at least those that we consider necessary to make an adequate installation and moderately short in time. If what is going to be installed is the version server, graphic resolution it may be less as well as the hard disk and ram memory space. The latter being a little less if we are going to install a different and less heavy desktop than Unity.

The support to do the installation has been the usb as it is a recyclable medium but it can also be done by burning a disc or a DVD and modifying the boot sequence of the computer so that it starts the Ubuntu installation disk.

Important!!

Si you are not sure that works with your software, I strongly recommend that you use the option of "Try Ubuntu”Before installing. So you can see first hand if your computer will work or not. Enjoy the video.

Ubuntu 13.04 is great as OS works like a charm now if I have it clearer than the fresh water, the next version when I download it (the ISO) I will donate what I can because these guys deserve it, also it seems to me that in on 14.04 they will change the Xorg for another graphic engine we will see how the xP experiment comes out
    regards

Canonical's intention to remove the Xorg is very old, older than Unity but they never succeed, I see it still hasty, but if they deserve donations for the work they are doing. Thanks for reading
