Ubuntu Studio 20.04 now available, with the same graphical environment as Xubuntu 20.04 and these news

Ubuntu Studio 20.04

The Ubuntu Studio team likes strong emotions. It has been a couple of releases in which we have been worried about his disappearance, and even a month ago assured that the project will die if it does not receive the support of the community, but the only certain thing is that they continue ahead. And as a button shows: we can now download Ubuntu Studio 20.04 LTS Focal Fossa, the new version that will be supported for several years.

If you have been debating for a long time whether Ubuntu Studio should go ahead or not, it is, in part, because it uses the same graphical environment as Xubuntu, which in Focal Fossa coincides with Xfce 4.14. More than improvements, it seems to bring worse.

    1. Ubuntu Studio Control now does not recognize HDMI audio output.
    2. CARLA now takes too long to load a session.
3.CARLA loads a session with the KONTAKT VST plugin added but does not run, you have to remove it and reload everything from the start of each session.

Well, you know what you have to do, inform the developers to correct those errors instead of complaining so much
