We have known for a long time a new project known as UbuntuBSD, a new distribution based on Ubuntu and Unix, specifically on operating systems called BSD. UbuntuBSD is considered an interesting option for companies and it seems that the community is strong Well, in just a few days, several betas have taken place and many users have reported problems and bugs.
UbuntuBSD beta 3 fixes quite a few bugs reported by users, including those with LightDM, the session manager that UbuntuBSD uses just like Ubuntu. But the new beta also incorporates the manager and support for virtual text consoles, what many know as the "black screen" and that in this distribution will not be supported by Getty but will be active and working simply by using the F1-F4 keys.
UbuntuBSD tries to bring the power of BSD to Ubuntu users
The UbuntuBSD Beta 3 image already available from the first day of April. This image is not yet suitable for production equipment, but it is suitable for use in virtual machines. In this case, if we want to use it, when creating the virtual machine we have to select BSD or, failing that, Unix as an operating system and not Linux, since things change and we could have serious problems.
Personally, I have not tried ubuntuBSD yet but I do know the BSD distributions and they have always been a great alternative if you want powerful distributions and operating systems, but their problem was that high knowledge was needed to handle them, UbuntuBSD may bring more people to BSD and pure Unix systems, something that would be interesting, not only for the business world but also for users who want to use their full potential of their teams.

It is based on Ubuntu and Unix …… .just like normal ubuntu, linux is a minix clone that is a unix clone….
BSD is also a UNIX-like system just like OSX, the biggest difference is that BSD uses a microkernel and the linux kernel is monolithic, but both are based on Unix.
