WDT, an impressive tool for web developers

Linux It does not have many applications that help a lot when developing web pages, and by this I mean applications that provide tools that help save time when writing code, since almost all of those that exist normally only offer options for debugging and writing code, rather than offering an environment WYSIWYG.

Fortunately there is WDT (Web Developer Tools), a powerful application that allows us to quickly and easily generate styles and buttons in CSS3, charts using Google API, check email from gmail, translate text with Google translate, make vector drawings, database backups and a very long (very long seriously) etc.

Other tools included in WDT (Web Developer Tools) are:

  • Task Manager
  • Dean Edwards Javascript Compressor
  • JSMin
  • CSS Minifier
  • Css Typeset Generator
  • CSS Button Generator
  • Cool Button Generator
  • RGB / HEX Color Chart
  • Terminal VTE
  • WYSIWYG HTML 5 Editor
  • Website Analyzer (Yslow + PageSpeed)
  • 3 x online W3C validators
  • Scriptbook
  • Customizable menu for other apps

To install WDT on Ubuntu you must first add the PPA repository and then install the applications by executing the following command in the terminal:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa: petrakis / wdt-main sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install -y wdt

The use of this tool is still not clear to me that I find attractive ... is there a manual or tutorial?
At the moment I am using KompoZer… I have only been able to design a page with text and I still want more in a short time, since I have no money to pay a web designer.

      Without further ado, thank you.

Wherever the code is bareback ... You already know what happens with tools of this type, which are practical for learners and people who are not true developers. Developers really prefer to create a website from their guts, not from their skin.

Bareback? Bah ... I go even further, and program with ascii code, not from the guts or the skin, but from the inside of the guts.

For me the truth, a tool that helps a developer to save time in their work does not detract from the work done, whoever wants to spend hours writing code very well, whoever prefers to spend those hours working more, resting or improving that code , also very good.

In addition, these programs like this are what make people like me take more interest in web development ... Also, at first no one is born knowing how to make a web page from the guts, guts or whatever you want to call it .. = P

Well, I neither with the tool, neither bareback nor ASCII, I do it with bits, with zeros and ones, and that's how I had a great time, the "bareback" thing I leave it to do with the relative, hahaha

Well, I am further afield. I generate the bits with a switch in the living room and on the light is 1 and with the light off it is 0

It seems to be a very interesting tool. I've already installed it on Arch Linux, so I'm going to be testing it fine these days.

Hello colleagues, someone will have tutorials for the use of the tool, or will they know where we can look? Greetings.
