XnConvert is a free program multi platform that will help us perform batch actions on images, it is valid for both Windows, Mac y Linux.
For Linux we can find it in DEB, RPM and TAR.GZ, as in this case the installation will be for Ubuntu o Debian we will use the file .deb.
Among its features to highlight The following are worth mentioning:
- Adding batches of files and folders
- Support for dragging and dropping files
- Batch rotation, cropping, resizing and more
- Change the output format
- Adding photomasks
- Preservation or removal of metadata from images in options
- Possibility of creating multiple profiles
- Possibility of including watermarks and signatures
- Support multi-page archive image (i.e. animated GIF, APNG, TIFF)
- Command line via nconvert integration
- Filters - such as' Blur ',' Gaussian Blur, 'Emboss',' Sharpen 'and much more
- Effects - like the "old camera"
How to install XnConvert
To install XnConvert we will download the file .deb from the following link, selecting between systems of 32 0 64 bit.
Once the corresponding file has been downloaded, we will access from the terminal to the path where it has been downloaded and we will install it with the command dpkg -i, if you did not move it, the file is downloaded in the folder of Downloads, so we will access it through this command:
- cd Downloads
Now we will install XnConvert with the command dpkg -i:
- sudo dpkg -i XnConvert.deb
With this we will have it correctly installed in our operating system Debian o Ubuntu, now to run it and configure it to our liking or preferences according to what we want to achieve, we will only have to open it from the dash or from the applications / graphics menu.
