YouTube to MP3 converter is a small application that allows us extract el audio de Youtube videos in an extremely simple way.
Its operation could not be simpler: just drag or copy the link of the video from which we want to extract the audio, then click on the corresponding button to start the download. We can add as many videos as we want, the downloads they are carried out in parallel (being able to choose exactly how many in the preferences).
Perhaps the most interesting thing about the application is the possibility to add entire playlists. In addition, although its name could indicate otherwise, we can choose in which format to extract the audio track, either in MP3, M4A or OGG (OGA). We can also set the quality.
Some of the most outstanding features of the application are:
- Clipboard tracking
- Tag editor
- Actions after the download queue ends
- Possibility of downloading the audio track in its original format, without conversion in between

Audacity also converts videos to .mp3 format
Besides the functions of choosing the audio format and quality, does it have any advantage over jdownloader?
I would say not to run on Java, apart from the simplicity.
The instructions you give do not work well for 64-bit linix. In the second instruction, to install, you have to put: sudo dpkg -i YouTubeToMP3.amd64.deb
instead of: sudo dpkg -i YouTubeToMP3.i386.deb
