All Video Downloader is an application that, as its name suggests, allows Download videos from a multitude of sites - such as YouTube, Dailymotion, Break, Vimeo, LiveLeak, Metacafe, Veoh, Yahoo! Video and even Myspace — in an extremely simple way.
And yes, it supports various adult content sites as well.
Additionally, All Video Downloader allows you to convert videos to whatever format we want. So extract audio or converting the clips to a specific format —to be able to be played on mobile phones with Android or iOS, for example— is a quick and easy task, simply copy the address of the video in question. Zero complications. And on top of that, it allows you to download several videos at once, by entering a list of their addresses:
And it supports a wide variety of formats:

If so, then all you have to do is download the DEB package available on its official website - tested on Ubuntu 13.04- and proceed to install it with one click. Another option is to open a console and run:
wget -c http://www.kastorsoft.com/dl/allvideodownloader.i386.deb -O avd32.deb
Followed by:
sudo dpkg -i avd32.deb && sudo apt-get -f install
All Video Downloader is also available on the Software Center from Ubuntu via this link.

At the present time, March 2015 cannot be installed from the software center, and from the terminal it gives a grammatical error. I'm new to ubunto but I can't install this software and I'm quite interested, any ideas? Thanks in advance
Hi Carlos. The error is in the way the order is written. The "amp;" not going. The command to paste is like this: sudo dpkg -i avd32.deb && sudo apt-get -f install
In this way you are telling the console to first unpack the file "av32.deb" (as if you installed it with gdebi), then the &&, which indicate that at the end of that, execute "apt-get -f install" to correct dependencies, that is: if there is a package that depends on another to work, or one is broken, try to repair it. In some versions of Ubuntu instead of "apt-get -f install" you have to put "apt-get install -f".
For more details you can type in the console "man apt-get" (without the quotes) to see the complete manual.
I'll tell you how I installed it:
1. wget -c http://www.kastorsoft.com/dl/allvideodownloader.i386.deb -Or avd32.deb
2. sudo dpkg -i avd32.deb && sudo apt-get install -f
Now I am about to try it.
To learn the syntax of the programs, I open them from the terminal window, and see what it tells me; you learn a lot that way.
Greetings.
