Main new features of Crossover 23.0
The new version Crossover 23.0, as we mentioned at the beginning, comes based on Wine 8.0.1, (since previous versions used Wine 7.7) with more than 5000 improvements and patches selected from recent Wine with benefits for many popular applications.
Along with it, too Wine “Mono” engine has been updated with the .NET platform implementation being updated to version 7.4.
In addition to this, in this release also the package vkd3d, which works through the translation of calls to the Vulkan graphics API, has been updated to version 1.8, as well as that the DXVK layer that implements DXGI, Direct3D, in addition to the Vulkan API, has been updated to version 1.10.3.
Regarding the specific changes of this new release of Crossover 23.0, we can find that the support for the EA App game delivery platform Developed by Electronic Arts. For example, The Sims 4, Titanfall 2, and Mass Effect Legendary Edition are all supported through the EA app.
It also stands out that one of the most requested characteristics was implemented and which is the ability to uninstall apps, and that from this new release it is already possible. Uninstalling can now be done quite easily from the GUI by going to "Bottle Details" at the bottom of the right sidebar by right clicking on the app listed under "Installed Software" you will find the option to uninstall uninstall.

- For macOS, there is initial support for DirectX 12 games like Diablo II: Resurrected and Diablo IV.
- Added initial support for geometry shaders.
- Fixed issues in Risk of Rain 2, TEKKEN 7, Octopath Traveler, Street Fighter V, Astroneer, MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries, and Trailmakers.
The Linux version now supports Diablo IV. - Wayland-based Linux environments provide the ability to run the Office 365 office suite.

How to get Crossover 23.0?
